The Black Mountain Picnic is the little sibling of Black Mountain Mixtape (minimix). We distilled what we enjoy'd most at a weekend away down to a few simple things - a good camp, a good place, good (blues/soul) music, good food/coffee (and a bit of cricket).

Gates open on Friday afternoon for campers. Just drive in and set up camp then go to the gate crew to check in and get your wrist band.  You can drift down to the shed for the Friday night jam or just have a quiet starry Friday night in camp with your friends.

Saturday morning is up to you. We don't do anything. You can walk along the beautiful spring to spring walking tracks to the mountain and sit and gaze, have a dip in one of the small spring fed pools, go and check out Cooktown , the Lions Den Hotel or just sit in your camp chair having a coldy. There's also safe swimming at Trevethan Falls over the hill and the beautiful Annan Gorge just up the road. We have our couch cricket match Saturday afternoon at 3pm

Saturday night is music - and - roll over DJ, this is not a macbook pro; It is glorious, enervating, alive, organic, supine, spine tingling ANALOGUE music played by some of our nations finest exponents of musicality and performance...

Sunday morning is more music with some of our guests showcasing their songwriting with a Q&A in the shed. We get to see a quieter side - as we munch down on the wheeties or bacon and eggs.

Free weekend camping included, some great acts, followed by a quiet(ish) Sunday  morning  breakfast gig, then home for dinner...
